ACT-SI at LOOP Forum 2026: Showcasing Slovene Industrial Symbiosis

ACT-SI will participate in the LOOP Forum 2026, taking place on 28–29 April in Copenhagen, one of the leading Nordic platforms dedicated to circular economy, resource efficiency, and industrial transformation.

The event gathers over 3,000 professionals and decision-makers across the circular economy ecosystem, offering direct access to partners, investors, and policy discussions shaping the future of resource use in Europe. Loop forum focuses on practical solutions that reduce raw material use, keep resources in circulation, and eliminate waste, while enabling cross-sector collaboration and new value chains.

Within this context, ACT-SI will present selected Slovene best practices in industrial symbiosis — demonstrating how collaboration between companies can turn by-products, waste streams, and excess energy into valuable resources. These cases highlight Slovenia’s growing role as a testbed for scalable, economically viable circular solutions.

Industrial symbiosis is becoming a core mechanism for competitiveness under resource constraints and tightening EU regulation. ACT-SI will use Loop forum as a platform to demonstrate that Slovenia already has the knowledge, cases, and partners required to scale.

Our participation at the event is possible due to the support of the Embassy of Republic of Slovenia in Copenhagen.
