New type of Horizon Europe funding \u2013 Clean Industrial Deal call for industrial pilots (TRL 7\u20138) aimed at accelerating the deployment of advanced technologies for decarbonising energy-intensive industries and the commercialisation of clean technologies.<\/p>\n
In the 2026\u20132027 period, \u20ac540 million will be allocated to the call, of which \u20ac275 million in 2026. Individual projects may receive between \u20ac15 million and \u20ac25 million, with approximately 30 industrial pilot projects expected to be funded.<\/p>\n

Engineering companies do not necessarily need to be consortium partners; they may act as subcontractors or service providers depending on scope.<\/li>\n
Only depreciation during the project duration is eligible, in line with company accounting rules.
Example: if accelerated depreciation is 5 years and the project runs for 3 years, 60% of equipment costs can be claimed.<\/li>\n
Raw materials, electricity, fuels, and consumables are eligible if clearly identifiable and directly linked to project implementation.<\/li>\n
